Every print has its own story. Our artists tapped into personal sources of inspiration: the Northern Lights, moonlit ocean waves, desert landscapes, a midnight drive through a sleeping city with the windows down and the music up. Wind in the trees, porcelain beading, the discovery of a hidden garden. Drawing from these influences, the artists reached for watercolors, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, photography, and a range of traditional media to interpret their unique vision. These original works were then digitized as prints and translated into wearable pieces of art, with AG fabrics serving as the canvas.
Imagination Meets Innovation
The journey from artwork to finished print demands precision at every step. After the original art was created by hand, our designers used digital manipulation to match the colors and achieve seamless patterns while preserving a feeling of spontaneity.
Our state-of-the-art printing machines bring the prints to life on AG fabrics through a process of steaming, washing, and finishing to lock in the artwork. We then cut and sew every Art Project garment in our Los Angeles headquarters, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship down to the last detail.
