With modern silhouettes in premium fabrics as the foundation, we combine eco-conscious technology and hand-finished detailing to replicate up to 30 years of authentic denim wear.

Vintage Look, Modern Fit

Note that each wash name in our AG-ed™ assortment designates a year. The higher the number, the more worn-in the denim appears. A 1-year wash will typically look less broken in, while higher-year washes show progressively more intense fading and distressed details.

It’s the little things that matter, especially when it comes to AG-ed™ Denim washes. The detailing goes beyond that of our standard washes, as laser etching and hand-finished elements capture the essence of vintage. From fading at the thighs and seat to three-dimensional distressed accents and honeycomb wear patterns behind the knees, every element is added to replicate a naturally worn-in look and feel.

What's The Significance of 49?

The 49 that’s branded on the hardware references a pair of jeans from 1949. Not only did these jeans inspire our AG-ed™ Denim collection, they also featured the number 49 in a way that looked like “AG.” We took it as a sign and included it on all the shank buttons, rivet backs, and patches on the inner waistband of AG-ed™ Denim styles.
